Gage and I had the opportunity to witness somethings really neat today!
We were on our way to run some errands, when I seen a big crow up on the bushes next to our driveway. He just sat up there, squawking away. Now my first impression of crows are the are annoying, nasty vultures, right? Well, here's the thing, we ran back inside because as a mom, you tend to forget at least one thing when you are running errands, in my case it was a snack to convince Gage to sit in a shopping cart :)
Anyway, so we ran inside and when we came out, we seen 2 crows in our yard! They were actually in the part where we have the red beauty bark. We sat and watched them as the sorted through pieces, and d collect the ones they wanted. As Gage sat in awe of this, I began to tell him a little story how that was a Mommy and a Daddy crow and they were looking for the perfect twigs and pieces of bark so that they could make a comfortable nest for their future babies! I think Gage really liked my story! We sat and watched and Gage was so quiet, so they didn't fly away!
Then it was time to head to the store, so in the car we went and away we flew... we drove, birds flew :)
Then as I am driving, I thought that my story might have been true!
