Why do I hate today?
It's a sad day!
Is it because it is raining and gloomy and gross outside?
No!
Is it because tomorrow I turn another year older?
No!
It's because on this day, last year, I found out my dad had passed away.
Why does it hurt so bad when I know he is somewhere where he is no longer in pain?
When will this feeling stop burning in my chest?
When will I be able to look at his photos without tearing up?
Why does life have to be so hard at times?
